EARLY INSIGHT

As a young child I was captivated by maps of Africa. The untamed Outland intrigued me and pulled me to it over and over again.  As my Mom continually observed my drawing and coloring in the various landforms of Africa she remarked “You know Gail, there are other maps you can draw”. I replied, “Not like this one and I’m going there one day”.

THE VISION ENDURES

I borrowed books from San Francisco’s library, each book that I chose was about Africa. Reading those books wasn’t really the goal, just holding them in my hands seemed to be enough~ each book felt as if a weight of gold were in my hands. 

DESTINY CHARTS THE COURSE

5 Years later… While standing on a hilltop in Madeira Portugal, I turned to a traveling friend and said "I’m going to bring something back from Africa that will change the world".  

Not long thereafter, that friend and I signed onto a Cargo Ship that sailed from Greece to Africa.  After 2 months in Kenya we decided to stroll the harbor in search of some boat that would take us on a high seas adventure. There we met a gold mining couple and their 2 young children who had just fled their politically troubled place in Zimbabwe.

The couple, Gordon and Lyn, owned a 78 foot yacht called ~The Dolly Panthreath~ they aimed to sail to some remote Island that they could once again call home.  Their situation sparked a fire within me to ask where they were going and almost immediately the couple invited us to hop onboard for coffee.

The Family was planning to sail across the Indian Ocean to the Seychelles Islands.  We eagerly offered our services to help with sailing the 1,000 mile crossing and, to our great delight, they happily agreed to take us on.  We set sail across the long stretch of sea the following morning. 

We remained in Seychelles for a month then decided to set course in the direction of South East to Mauritius Islands. But as fate would have it, upon our departure, a super storm with wild seas forced us to head in the opposite direction directly to the Comoros Islands. This forced change of course reminded me of an old saying~ If you want to make God laugh just tell him your plans. Everything is perfectly imperfect whether we know it or not.

After landing on the small French Island of Mayotte we met an American Missionary man who invited us to afternoon tea. He wanted to introduce us to a pilot, Josh, who flew specialty foods to this remote island.  We instantly hit it off with Josh as he shared~ in great detail~ of the captivating beauty of Zimbabwe. Through his dancing bright eyes, we could see the deep love that he had for his Country.  He said “You shouldn’t miss Zimbabwe” and to our great delight Josh invited us to fly back with him on his then empty DC-10.  Upon that note I was reeved UP to fly to Zimbabwe on his airplanes wing.

Within days of our landing in Zimbabwe we hitched a ride UP North to vibrant Victoria Falls in which we spent 3 nights. Upon our return from Vic Falls we decided to, again, hitch a ride back to Harare but as fate would have it a Ranger from Wanke Wildlife Reserve pulled over and picked us up. The wild-eyed enthusiastic Ranger insisted that we shouldn’t miss out on an adventure through Wanke's wildlife park which is currently renamed Hwange National Park.  I asked Mr Ranger if it would be wise to enter a wildlife reserve park wandering about on foot, the starry eyed Ranger told us that only natives walk about on foot but assured us that he would make time during the day to drive us around the park. With that pledge~ we jumped into his jeep as the high of the next surprise adventure was on.

It was in Wanke park that a fateful point in my life unfolded. I fell extremely ill with a fuming infection and soaring fever~ it was the worse type of strep throat I had ever experienced.  Step throat plagued me each year from the age of 7 years old after my tonsils were removed.

My Swiss friend Romy attempted to break my fever with hot and cold compresses to no avail. As the infection spread my throat swelled and my airways began to close. The swelling of my throat was so severe that my head was propped up on pillows just so i could breathe. All attempts failed until an Irish woman who was on bird watching safari appeared in my hut and handed me a bottle of Emethy®.  She wet the Emethy® bottle and placed it in my hand, saying “it’s worked wonders for me, just hold it.”  As I clung to this bottle I felt my throat being soothed and within a short span of time my fever broke.   

I woke UP the following morning, energized without any sign of symptoms.

This miraculous experience of Emethy® would change my life forever!

AWESTRUCK

Feeling pepped up, as if nothing happened, was nothing short of a miracle as it normally took at least a week for recovery from previous bouts of strep throat that I endured~ year after year~ from the age of 7 years old on up.  Strep throat tortured me at least once a year as the symptoms with each bout got worse. The yearly, butt poked, prescribed Penicillin cocktail was no longer working which only served to further weaken my broken immune system.

The Emethy miracle experience had me racing to the bird watcher woman to ask her: “What is in this little bottle and how does it work?” She simply said: “I don’t know how Emethy® works”,  she then handed me a slip of paper that pointed me to a woman’s name and phone number who lived in Harare. I couldn’t wait to get out of that Park and head straight back to Harare.  

MS. MALIKA

When I got back to Harare I dialed the number on that little slip of paper. Within the first some words of our phone conversation, the Emethy woman, Ms Malika pressingly asked “when can you come here”.   I hung up the phone and quickly found a ride and headed to Ms. Malika’s home. 

It was a convincing site upon arrival to witness the stream of people, with smiles etched upon each face, quietly queued up to meet Ms. Malika for Emethy treatments.

As I finally came face to face with Ms Malika’s brilliant blue eyes and glittering silver hair I felt completely at ease as she radiated a deep sense of peace that was quite palpable. Our connection simply flowed and I felt as though I was in the presence of a long lost Ancestor.

Ms Malika gathered hair samples of each person, one at a time, then ventured off into a private room. In that silent space she appointed her pendulum to detect the problems of the person. She would then reappear with the appropriate Emethy® formulas consulting with each person, one at a time. in a secluded room.

THE GARDEN OF TRUTH

In a room full of people Ms. Malika zoned in on me then took my hand and guided me into her garden~ there I curiously asked her “who gave you this information?”  With shimmering eyes she gestured~ with her hand to the sky~ and said “it’s a gift from Him”. She went on to say that as a small child she instinctively knew that this herb was good for this- as she pressed her hand to her head, and that herb was good for that- as she tapped her chest.  Her humble words rang through me with a simple transparent truth.

To this day I can still remember the particulars of her presence and each word that she graciously parted to me.  

Throughout the moments of her unmasking the mysteries of Emethy® to me I sensed that her words were etched in gold and that my total attention was being called upon to recall her every word. 

I placed those precious words safely within my heart.

SIX YEARS LATER

In 1987 I experienced a vivid replay of what Ms. Malika shared with me about Emethy®. This sudden experience was like a light of lightening that awakened every pore of my being.  

In quick order I discovered new~found facets from the original Emethy® method that saved my life six years prior. 

I saw what I need to do and raced to my room to get dressed. It seemed that I couldn’t wait another moment to begin creating Emethy® formulas. My Wasband asked, "what in the world are you doing?". It must have seemed so strange to him to see me moving at that rate of speed. My answered to him was, "I saw what I have to do". Still perplexed he replied “What is it that you have to do?”  “I have to get Emethy® out to the world". Not knowing about Emethy, that statement only confused him more. I was on a mission and as I raced out the door I felt to satisfy him by saying “Just wait you'll see".

Within just days of creating Emethy® formulas I was waken at 3am with an oozing red eye, it was burning & swollen and half its normal size. I sat up and went directly to the kitchen where I set up an Emethy herb shelf. Instinctively, I placed my right hand over the stinging eye as my left hand slowly swept along each jar of herbs.  When a buzzing or tingling sensation was felt with my left hand I would pull then that jar of herbs from the shelf onto the counter. Upon completion there were a total of 5 jars of herbs that were placed on the counter. The herbs I dowsed were: Echinacea, Golden Seal, Eyebright, Cleavers, and Garlic. Curiously, I consulted my Holistic Herbal book to see what these herbs were indicated for and sure enough those very herbs were suggested for eye infections. Another gift had seemed to grace me with the ability to tune into the storehouse field of Radiesthesia or better know as Dowsing. I went to bed clutching onto the Emethy® formula that I made that night and woke up in the morning to see that my eye had completely cleared.

POLARITY THERAPY & EMETHY®

In attempt to deepen my understanding of energy awareness I committed to a live-in study program at the Alive Polarity Institute in Southern California for a total of 3 years.

According to the principles of Polarity Therapy, the body is made up of 5 Elemental energies that weave mental, emotional and physical patterns. When these energies are in harmony one will experience harmonious health. 

Understanding Polarity Therapy along with other advanced forms of research helped me with expanding from the original form of Emethy’s® method to what it has evolved to today . 

In 1987, after extensive research, I worked to integrate Emethy® into my Polarity Therapy practice. Emethy® sessions were given to clients prior to Polarity treatments and the results proved to be life-changing! 

The request for Emethy® formulas quickly grew greater than for my hands on Polarity treatments~ this told me everything I needed to know about the next direction to take.

MY REQUEST TO MS. MALIKA

With deepest respect, I wrote a letter to Ms Malika requesting permission to establish Emethy® in the USA. Three weeks later I received a letter from Zimbabwe, I eagerly opened it and with my heart pounding, the note read: “I have received your letter and heartfelt request for introducing Emethy® to the USA. “With much regret I am sorry to report that my Mother died and did not leave a scratch of information pertaining to Emethy® or of how it works.”  The letter was signed from Ms. Malika’s Daughter.

With deep heartfelt Gratitude I remain in awe of the extraordinary events that led me to Emethy®. I truly believe that everything unfolded, exactly as it did, not only to save my life, but to preserve Emethy’s legacy®.  Since my first encounter with Emethy®, in 1981, I have never had another outbreak of strep throat.  Prior to discovering Emethy®- starting at the tender age of 7 years young- I had strep throat at least once a year which involved a trip to the doctor, drugs & days of recovery.
